FOOD & DRINK IN CYPRUS

There are so many lovely spots to discover for having drinks, but we’ve given you a handful here to get you started. From the Sea Caves, to Potima Bay and beyond to Paphos these gems should get you going in the right direction. Feel the love! Eating out is also a massive part of any Mediterranean holiday. Here’s a CVR approved selection of seaside and Coral Bay eateries to get you started.

MORE PLACES TO EAT & DRINK

The Elysium 5* Hotel
The Elysium five star hotel lies after the Tombs of the Kings on the coast road to Paphos. It’s spot on for cocktails or a touch of high tea. There’s live music in the bar on weekends, and views of the Med.

The Annabelle 5* Hotel
The Annabelle is on the front in Paphos Old Town. We love beach walks here. Stop for a cocktail or tiffin and enjoy the view of the bay. Worth a visit while in Paphos Old Town.

Restaurant Peyia Tavern
The Peyia Tavern in Upper Peyia has a loyal following among holidaymakers and expats alike. Enjoy Cypriot cuisine and meze at a friendly family-run business.

Restaurant, Mexican, Coral Bay
Rio Grande is a CVR favourite on the Coral Bay Strip. Meat lovers will like its grill offerings heavy on meat. Great kids menu and always the option of drinks and texmex classics like nachos to share.

Agios Georgios Pegeia (St. George)
This restaurant is in a top spot with cracking views out to the southwest and over the Med. The menu is full of the fruits of the sea. Not fine dining. Just the local catch – Cypriot style. Top stuff.

Cap St. Georges Beach Club Resort
A quite beach resort hotel for an evening’s chillaxing. Calming décor and stunning sunsets make this a lovely spot for a drink or food. Very swish.

Sea Caves Tavern
Not sure you can go wrong with this one. Top setting right on the sea. Cheap as chips. Kiddies’ playground for the younglings. Just a bit further along from the Shipwreck.
