Cleopatra

This is a nice villa though small and a bit scuffed and tatty in places. There was a cockroach in the bathroom downstairs and the pool chemicals brought everyone out in a rash. Worst of all we were burgled while we slept on our first night. The operators initially refused to send anyone out. When the police arrived they told us they had been there for a robbery the week before (in addition to the one in May) and there had been no changes to the security like upgrading the rear door locks or changing the front door key. The police told us emphatically and repeatedly that the villa was not safe for us to stay in and we left the same evening. Chloraka is apparently a high crime area. I was unimpressed by Cyprus Villa Retreat’s response and would most definitely warn off anyone from staying there. We lost almost £1000 in cash, despite being careful about locking doors and windows. We were broken into by people who clearly knew it was our first night and were watching the house

We were victims of a break-in during our stay, and valuables and cash worth over €25,000 were stolen – while we were sleeping inside the house. The property has a camera, but according to the host, it recorded nothing. The alarm system only worked when nobody was inside. After the incident, we contacted the security company directly, but they refused to support us. Once the alarm stopped working altogether, we decided to leave the house early at our own expense, as we no longer felt safe. There were also cockroaches in the house, and the entire basement level, where three bedrooms are located, had no Wi-Fi reception at all. It’s especially disappointing because we stayed in another property by the same host last year and had a great experience. But this time, the host was dismissive and seemed to completely underestimate the seriousness of the situation. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this stay.

The views from this villa are amazing. It does sleep 12 people easily but the seating areas and dining areas only seat 6-8 and the 3 downstairs bedrooms share a small shower room and even smaller toilet. The two upper bedrooms are great with big en-suites and amazing views over the sea. There were 8 adults in our party so we did have to move chairs around to enable us all to sit together. We ate in every night as we love to cook and the facilities were ok, plenty of plates etc but limited cooking utensils and glasses. Restaurants and decent supermarkets are a good half an hour walk so a car would be recommended.

Loved Cleopatra Villa it had everything we needed, 8 of us 7 Adults and one 16 year old we had plenty of space and all amenities needed for our stay, loved having 2 fridges and a wine cooler. It was clean and tidy and great views especially from 1st floor and roof terrace we all felt at home, Cyprus Retreats were fantastic if we needed anything they were fast and quick to respond I was very Impressed. The Outside pool and hot tub clear and bright and a good space and views , I recommend getting it heated before you go as I found we used it so much more and spent hours in it due to this. Location car is needed in the middle of Coral Bay and Chloaraka harbour but you can walk to a bus stop 10mins that can take you either way. plenty of shops and supermarkets and reasturants on main strip and use wolt which is like uber eats if you need a takeaway or something from the supermarket we did several times and it worked well. We had a great holiday at the villa thank you Cyprus Retreats

Great week We had a great week away at Villa Cleopatra as a family. Everything was amazing and the staff at Cyprus Villa Retreats were amazing. Villa was as expected with everything you could need.

A lovely villa, perfect for families with young children. There’s not much in walking distance however it was very easy to get taxi around. Would stay here again!
