Eat like a local!
One of the great advantages of the amazing Cypriot climate is all the lovely vegetables and fruits that grow naturally on the island.
Not only do they taste amazing, soaking up the sun some 300 days a year, but the selection of produce on offer is fantastically varied. On an average day in Cyprus, you will find different types of sweetest tomatoes, cucumbers, courgettes, peppers, all kinds of onions, potatoes, spinach, and leeks. Expect to sample juicy lemons, oranges, and grapefruits for a fraction of the usual price at home. Strawberries, watermelons, and all kinds of the sweetest fruit. Again, all locally produced, so it is fresh as it can get!
For us living on the island, we can’t get enough of the avocados. There’s no leaving them to ripen for days here! We can’t wait to introduce you to some of the local produce and cuisine!
