    The Sierra Leone flagged EDRO III ran aground in Paphos in stormy seas on 8 December 2011. And is still stranded on the rocks.  The wreck is very close to the shore. Which makes a visit pretty interesting and exciting. For kids young and old. Read more…

Coral Bay Beach

Corallia Beach

Corallia Beach is a a bit smaller then Coral Bay Beach, but also a beautiful sandy beach, very child-friendly with sun beds hire and showers provided by the Corallia Beach Hotel that is easy accessible from the beach. The big parking place provides plenty of space for your car. Read more…

Latchi beach

Latch Beach is a lovely purpose built beach and harbour at the top end of the Akamas Peninsula. Head west toward the Akamas for more peaceful and scenic spots up toward the Baths of Aphrodite.

The Columbia Beach Resort is half way to Limassol from Paphos. Fancy a road trip down the coast? take in Episkopi Bay. This five-star resort rocks.

Coral Bay Go Karting

For the smaller children this is the ideal karting track. Nice is that also karts are provided with double seats, so the small children can enjoy a round on the track with their fathers (or mothers! ) This track near Coral Bay comes with the CVR stamp of approval. Nice. Read more…

Paphos Aphrodite Waterpark

What no Waterpark?! Not on your nelly! I’m pretty sure adults invented waterparks so they could get to go there with their kids. Forever young!

Pafos Zoo

Two good reasons to go here: one, there’s a free bus service from Coral Bay; and two, they have baby tigers! Just yes. The gorgeous tiny baby killers (not baby-killers!) arrived in March 2017. Get in!

Gym in Peyia (Tower Fitness)

Tower Fitness Center is at discounted rates to our guests. It lies 2 km inland from Coral Bay in Peyia. So it’s easily reachable for all our guests in Coral Bay, Kissonerga, Peyia and even St. George. Read more…

Coral Bay Strip

The Coral Bay Strip is the holiday hub of the Paphos region. It’s packed with eateries and watering holes, local supermarkets and the chemist’s. This has to be on your places to go things to see list.

Traditional Cypriot village high up in the Kathikas wine growing region. Donkey sanctuary and Easter reenactment of the Passion of Christ.

Omodos Village

Another mountaintop village high in a winemaking region is the lovely Omodos. Free wine sampling should make the visit interesting with wineries, a pretty monastery, cobbled streets and to-die-for views. This is warmly recommended by the CVR team. Great for an evening at or after sundown.

The Annabelle 5* Hotel

The Annabelle is on the front in Paphos Old Town. We love beach walks here. Stop for a cocktail or tiffin and enjoy the view of the bay. Worth a visit while in Paphos Old Town.

Restaurant Peyia Tavern

The Peyia Tavern in Upper Peyia has a loyal following among holidaymakers and expats alike. Enjoy Cypriot cuisine and meze at a friendly family-run business.

Restaurant, Mexican, Coral Bay 

Rio Grande is a CVR favourite on the Coral Bay Strip. Meat lovers will like its grill offerings heavy on meat. Great kids menu and always the option of drinks and texmex classics like nachos to share.

Agios Georgios Pegeia (St. George)

This restaurant is in a top spot with cracking views out to the southwest and over the Med. The menu is full of the fruits of the sea. Not fine dining. Just the local catchCypriot style. Top stuff.

Cap St. Georges Beach Club Resort

A quite beach resort hotel for an evening’s chillaxing. Calming décor and stunning sunsets make this a lovely spot for a drink or food. Very swish.

Sea Caves Tavern

Not sure you can go wrong with this one. Top setting right on the sea. Cheap as chips. Kiddies’ playground for the younglings. Just a bit further along from the Shipwreck.
